Not your run of the (rice) mill Japanese joint
Rappu meaning wrap in Japanese, is a nod to the bar's sushi handrolls but also refers to the rap music that that sets the tone at this vibrant establishment. Think proper seaweed, rice, and seafood paired with tipples set to hiphop music.
The handroll-focused izakaya is the latest venture from the creators of The Feather Blade. Originating as a pop-up concept at Revamp Cocktail Bar, it has now found its larger, permanent, brutalist location on Duxton Road.

Crafted with ROKU Gin as its foundation, this cocktail bursts forth with botanical brilliance. Fresh cucumber slices infuse the drink with a cool, rejuvenating flavour, while elderflower adds a delicate floral sweetness. Finished with a splash of soda, this cocktail offers a revitalising escape with each cooling gulp.
